Happy birthday to
silent_bunny and
kerikeri! Have a great day, my dears. <3 This calls for texting and scones:

P.S. Also happy 2nd birthday to my Lex-honey. =^.^= He was very probably born in January, so I have assigned him this date. *g*

"You know when sometimes you meet someone so beautiful and then you actually talk to them and five minutes later they're as dull as a brick? Then there's other people, when you meet them you think, 'Not bad. They're okay.' And then you get to know them and... and their face just sort of becomes them. Like their personality's written all over it. And they just turn into something so beautiful."
- Amy Pond The Girl Who Waited
It seemed like the writers didn’t have many ideas of what to do with Amy this series, which is a shame because she was really dynamic last series. And ‘The Girl Who Waited’ proved that it’s possible to make amazing, complex, heartrending Amy episodes.
However, Amy kicked butt in all her scenes with Rory, Melody, Mels, and (of course) River. Amy as wife and mother = frickin’ AWESOME. Loved it when she got cold-blooded revenge on Madame Kovarian for stealing baby Melody. Adored Amy and River properly ganging up on the Doctor (sometimes he really, really needs a big kick in the behind from the Pond girls XD).
If next season is all Amy and River as a team making the Doctor’s life hell, I will be a HAPPYHAPPYHAPPY BUNNY. *evil grin* >;3

"Right. Putting Hitler in the cupboard. Cupboard. Hitler. Hitler. Cupboard."
- Rory Let's Kill Hitler
Rory deserves the award for Most Valuable Companion this series. His character development was subtle but noticeable, and he’s still really really funny. Meeting the universe with slightly pained bewilderment. ^__^
It would have been wonderful to have an episode with Rory and the Doctor alone, or a Rory-centric episode.

Rule One. The Doctor lies.
- The Doctor Let's Kill Hitler
Eleven is the best Doctor ever. And the very best slitherer-outerer!! That was EPIC slitherer-outering in The Wedding of River Song. :P

Anita: How do you know they're not androids?
River Song: Because I've dated androids. They're rubbish.
- series 4 Silence in the Library
And then in series 6 The Wedding of River Song River ends up saving the universe by making out with a shapeshifting robot.
...
...I love this show. XD
Please, please, don't ever marry the Doctor, River. Marry me instead! ♥ ♥ ♥

So clearly I'm definitely not the only one who imprinted on the Kermit/Miss Piggy ship and looks for them in other pairings. LMAO!
By the gods, I must get a copy. It's gonna be framed and put over the frickin' mantlepiece. ♥ ♥ ♥ Every time I see it, it makes me laugh even harder than the last time. XD

Being Elmo: A Puppeteer's Journey is a wonderful documentary, it made me cry. <3
Or at least you must watch the Muppets music video with OK Go, for it is Made of Win. XD
P.S. It suddenly occurs to me that I had imprinted on the Kermit/Miss Piggy relationship at an early age and have always got easily fixated on pairings with similar dynamics (for example Clark Kent/Lois Lane, the Doctor/River Song, etc). Hmmm. This explains A LOT. Thank you, Jim Henson and Frank Oz! :P *lmao*

Thank you so much,
momijizukamori! ^___________^ Package arrived a few days ago.

It's adorable - and just perfect for the cold weather NZ has been having lately. I wore it all weekend. <3

Naturally I had to break out the ol' fedora and do a (bad) attempt at a Tom Baker expression. XD

Wanted to get the cat to pose in it but he refused to co-operate. This is his "we are not amused" face. ^_^;;;
